Polo Road Widening

The proposed scope recommends a two‐lane widened roadway from approximately 200’ south of the intersection with Two Notch Road to Mallet Hill Road with bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. The scope provides intersection turn lane improvements at four intersections (Hope Road, Running Fox Road, Miles Road, and south bound portion of Mallet Hill Road), and will include bike lanes and 5’ sidewalks. Traffic signals will be improved either by upgrading or modifications to existing signals.
Project Status:
- The authorization to proceed (ATP) for Right-of-Way (ROW) acquisition was received on June 10, 2026, and the ROW acquisition process is currently underway. All title work has been completed, and the ROW team is contacting property owners to obtain permission and schedule acquisition meetings. In parallel, the 30% utility design is in progress. A Public Information Meeting (PIM) was held on May 26, 2026, with the public comment period remaining open through June 12, 2026. The design team has reviewed and addressed all comments received, as appropriate and consistent with the project's scope.
