The scope of the proposed neighborhood improvement project(s) will be determined in Phase 1 (concept phase) of this project. Project(s) and scope options will be selected directly from the approved Richland County Neighborhood Master Plan and refined based upon public and stakeholder input and available funding.
Project Status:
- The Concept Report for this project was completed and approved by County Council in April and May 2019, respectively. Preliminary right-of-way plans were submitted to SCDOT in April 2024, with an ATP to ROW received in September 2024. The project is currently under SCDOT review, awaiting comments and formal plan approval. We are in the ROW phase and these activities are ongoing. Upon receipt of SCDOT approval and completion of right-of-way acquisition, the project will be cleared construction, with no addition administrative or design milestones anticipated prior to that transition.
