Broad River Road Widening

The proposed scope recommends a 5‐lane section (4 travel lanes and a center turn lane) between Royal Tower Drive and Dutch Fork Road. Pedestrian accommodations shall include on-street bike lanes and sidewalks.
Project Status:
- Both the road widening and concrete cap projects are out for construction advertisement. Bid openings for both projects is October 30, 2025. The temporary traffic signal at the Broad River/Rd Farming Creek Rd intersection is expected to be completed by the end of December 2025.
