Crane Creek Greenway

Project scope is to design a recreational greenway from the Columbia canal diversion dam (headgates) extending north along the west side of the Broad River across Smith Branch, then turn toward the edge of Broad River and continue north along the rivers edge crossing over Crane Creek and terminating just north of Crane Creek. Design a bridge across Smith Branch to carry City of Columbia specified vehicles and pedestrian crossing over Crane Creek.
Project Status:
- The plans are approved by the City of Columbia. Construction schedule conflicts with other concurrent projects (by City of Columbia) near Crane Creek Greenway project. In the process of negotiating with a property owner for staging area. If resolved, the project should be ready for bidding. The navigable Waters permit is pending.
