The proposed descope includes proceeding with Alternate 4 from Shop Road Ext. Ph. 1 to Montgomery Lane. Then allow traffic to continue on Montgomery. Also, perform any needed intersection improvements along Montgomery\Old Hopkins, and improve safety at existing railroad crossing.
Project Status:
- In January 2026, we convened a stakeholder meeting to review and discuss the proposed vision for the corridor extending from Shop Road to Montgomery Road. During this meeting, we presented a new alignment for the corridor, which was developed based on previous feedback and engineering considerations. Since that meeting, our design consultant has been actively working to advance this vision by translating the proposed alignment into a formal plan set. This effort includes depicting the new alignment in detail on the plans, ensuring that all design elements are accurately represented and aligned with stakeholder input. Once the plan set is complete, it will be available for further review and coordination with relevant agencies and project partners.
