Shop Road Widening
District 10
The project consists of widening the existing roadway to five lanes (two lanes in each direction with a 13-foot center median) with 5’ bike lanes, curb and gutter, and sidewalks on both sides of the road from the intersection with George Rogers Blvd. toward Mauney Drive for an approximate distance of 2.2 miles. No improvements will be done to the roadway at the intersection with George Rogers Blvd.
Project Status:
- Updated ROW plans submitted on 10/2/2025 and will begin ROW acquisition once approval from SCDOT. Utility Coordination at 60% and Utility Design at 30% completion. All title work is complete. ROW agent is waiting on Signed ROW plans before beginning to acquire new ROW.
